A big chunk of my work is helping teams answer a deceptively small question: what should be automated, and what should stay in users' hands?
I tend to care most about simple solutions, understandable systems, and technology people can trust. Useful beats impressive. Human beats opaque.
Before this chapter, I spent years in developer education and community building through conferences, workshops, streams, and side quests like badwebsite.club. Helping people get unstuck is still one of my favourite thingoes.
